Despite their starting small forward suffering from a sore foot, the New York Knicks will still be in full strength on Monday when they face the L.A. Clippers, as Tim Hardaway Jr. is scheduled to suit up and play for them, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

This is a huge boost for the team, who will try to get back to their winning ways on the night, following their loss to the Toronto Raptors last Friday. Hardaway has been playing at a high level so far this season, producing career high numbers of 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 34.0 minutes per game.

There are no reports as well about a possible minutes restriction for him, although it remains a possibility, should the Knicks plan to take a cautious approach on Hardaway’s injury. His availability for the game goes to show that the team does not want to have a losing streak, and are looking to improve on their record. A win on the night will take the Knicks back to two games over .500 with a 9-7 win-loss slate. The Clippers on the other hand are looking halt their eight-game losing streak, and get right back on track.

It remains to be seen what kind of impact Hardaway will have for his team, but with how he’s been playing this year, it can be expected that he will once again produce similar numbers to his averages, and be a torn to their opponents’ chances of winning.
