New York Knicks center Enes Kanter was ejected from Thursday night's game after getting into it with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetekuonmpo.

Kanter made a physical play on the ball, which sent Giannis to the ground in a hurry while looking for a foul call.

But that was just one part of the equation.

After the play was over, Giannis jumped to his feet and ran downcourt to deliver a little nudge of his own on Kanter.

The Knicks star did not appreciate that too much, so he immediately went face to face and offered his own response before getting ejected from the game.

It certainly wasn't ideal for Kanter to get thrown out, especially considering that he was already benched by head coach David Fizdale once again.

So, it was easy to understand why Kanter may have been overloaded with frustrations before and after the altercation with Giannis.

Kanter is averaging 14.9 points and 10.9 rebounds per game this season in what has certainly been an up and down year for the former Kentucky star.

And it probably wasn't helped by the play of Luke Kornet, who finished with 23 points and made 7 of 11 attempts from 3-point range in his first start of the season.

Of course, it's been quite a struggle for the Knicks, who lost their sixth straight game and fell to 9-27 overall with the 112-96 loss to the Bucks.

Things don't get any easier with five more road games ahead, which will start with a Saturday night matchup against the Utah Jazz.
