He may be retired, but Kobe Bryant is keeping busy by working on a number of different creative projects. One such project is his series of “short video presentations” for ESPN called Canvas.

Bryant's first Canvas video short, which was called “Guarding the Greats,” debuted on Christmas Day and focused on the Lakers legend's approach to guarding superstar players like LeBron James. Using a breakdown of his opponents' moves, Bryant narrated his own thought process and how he learned to defend someone like James. And since this is Bryant, a future Hall of Famer and one of the best players to ever play, his analysis was fascinating, especially since his thinking is so unique and nuanced.

Bryant will likely share similar insight with his second video short, entitled Canvas City: Musecage. The Lakers great will personally debut the video himself on ABC's NBA Countdown on Sunday, March 26.

Canvas City: Musecage helps others better their best by delivering complex basketball insights in a light-hearted, easy-to-digest way,” said Bryant in an ESPN press release. “The show helps others understand the game at a higher level and offers a new voice to sports storytelling that will hopefully captivate the whole family.”

While Bryant's description of his latest video short does sound a bit vague, if it is anything like “Guarding the Greats,” expect it to be great.
