With the 2017 NBA Draft creeping ever so closer, the Los Angeles Lakers are doing their due diligence with working out numerous top prospects ahead of it.

According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the Lakers have officially scheduled a second meeting and workout with UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball that is set for Friday.

It had been reported Tuesday that the team was set to hold a second workout with Ball. This came a mere few hours after the team held a second workout with Kansas swingman Josh Jackson on Tuesday afternoon and their first individual session with Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox.

This will provide Ball with a chance to build upon his first workout last week where there were rumblings that he didn't exactly blow away the organization with questions stemming from his conditioning. In his first meeting, he talked with the coaching staff and management.

Ball played just one season at UCLA where he led the nation with 7.6 assists per game while also setting the school's single-season record with 274 assists. He has yet to work out with any other team leading up to the draft.

Los Angeles is also expected to hold their first individual workout with Washington point guard Markelle Fultz.
