Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis brought us one of the highlight plays of the evening on Friday, as he dunked all over New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram on a fastbreak alley-oop play.

Davis showed off the full extension of his extremely long arms, as he skied to collect a LeBron James ally-oop pass. The six-time All-Star caught the ball right at the apex of his jump, and was able to slam it home for the Sports Center-worthy dunk. In the process, he was also able to put one down on Ingram, who himself tried to block Davis' attempt. Unfortunately for Ingram, it did not exactly end as he had envisioned it, as he ended up being on the wrong end of the highlight reel play.

Davis was absolutely tremendous in this one, going for a game-high 46 points on 15-of-21 from the field and a pristine 13-of-13 from the charity stripe. For good measure, the 26-year-old also added three 3-pointers, 13 boards, an assist, three steals, and a block in 38 minutes of play.

Aside from being posterized by AD, Ingram had a pretty respectable evening himself , accounting for 22 points (on 10-of-27 shooting) a couple of 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.

Both men have been excellent for their respective squads all season long, and at this point, it would be safe to say that their offseason switch has proven to beneficial for all parties involved, including the Lakers and the Pelicans. The latter, however, have been struggling throughout the first half of the season despite Ingram's excellent play, so in this respect, it could be said that the Lakers have gotten the better end of the deal thus far.
