Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis is still shaking off the cobwebs in his first game back from injury versus the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. After missing his first few attempts, AD finally got his name on the board with this smooth-looking jumper.

At around the halfway mark of the opening period between Los Angeles and Dallas at American Airlines Center, The Brow sized up Willie Cauley-Stein outside the 3-point line. AD created space with a nice pump-fake jab-step combo before schooling WCS with a nifty step back. The Mavs center could only watch as Davis drained a jumper for his first field goal in over two months.

Lakers fans better enjoy every minute of AD in this game since coach Frank Vogel confirmed he'll only play him for 15 minutes in the first half. The eight-time All-Star, after all, still needs to get his legs back after recovering from Achilles and calf strain injuries.

By the early looks of it, Davis does seem a bit rusty but him drilling that nice-looking J is still a positive sign for the Purple and Gold. The reigning champs have gone 5-5 in their last 10 games without AD and LeBron James. With Davis now back in the lineup, the Lakers are hoping to once again get back to the Top 4 of the loaded Western Conference.
