The Los Angeles Lakers were handed yet another Anthony Davis injury blow on Wednesday night as the big man rolled his right ankle after going up for a rebound. While it looked very bad at first, the X-rays did come back negative and it was determined to be just a sprain.

Per ESPN's Dave McMenamin, AD is expected to be out for at least two weeks and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break. It was a scary scene that left the Lakers and their fans in shock. Davis was in excruciating pain and couldn't even put pressure on his ankle, with Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan having to carry their teammate to the locker room.

LeBron James voiced his concern for AD and revealed he felt absolutely gutted for his running mate:

“Obviously it's sickening to see AD go down in that fashion,” the Lakers star said. “I hope he's fine. Obviously, I mean, I know he's not like, great, but obviously his health is most important for him individually, for our ballclub. I've seen [teammates get injured] too many times, obviously. So I just wish him the best.”

AD has struggled to stay healthy this season, previously missing 17 games earlier in the campaign due to an MCL injury. The Lakers managed to come out victorious against the Utah Jazz, but it's going to be very tough to turn things around without one of their best players. Thankfully, it looks like Anthony Davis will be back at some point in the second half. He's scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday.
