Heading into his second year in the league, Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram has an opportunity to make a significant leap forward this upcoming season.

In light of that, the 19-year-old announced on Tuesday his partnership with BiPro USA on a web series, which creates some protein-enriched product that is used during workouts.

“Since the NBA season ends, I have been really focusing on getting stronger. I have been in the weight room everyday building muscle. A lot of the focus has been on my lower body so I have a strong base. That will help with my footwork, my quickness, and explosiveness on the court. I have been recovering with a serving of BiPro after training to give my muscles plenty of protein with it's all natural ingredients. I am doing everything to keep growing as a player and get stronger.”

Ingram is set to partake in a web series that should likely give more insight to why he uses the product and what his typical workout routine entails. There is an increased emphasis on him to add to more weight to his body frame to help him better deal with the physicality of the game and grind of an entire NBA season.

He joins his Lakers teammate Larry Nance Jr. as some of the notable professional athletes that are currently sponsored by the company. Some of the other major athletes that use the product are Connecticut Suns point guard Rachael Banham, former NFL linebacker Ben Leber, and swimmer Ashley Twichell.
