After enduring a season in which seemingly nothing went right, the Los Angeles Lakers are on the hunt to recruit one or possibly even two stars to come and help LeBron James bring the Larry O'Brien trophy back to L.A. Colin Cowherd thinks that one of these stars should be the Washington Wizards Bradley Beal.

Cowherd claimed that Beal would be a perfect fit for LeBron, and advocated for his departure from a subpar Washington Wizards team.

“I don't think Beal and [John] Wall have ever been as good as they should be together… I think Bradley Beal is the guy in the league that if you inserted him with LeBron… He would be perfect.”

Beal has been one of the better three-and-D players in the league for a few years now. The Lakers struggled with three-point shooting and defense. If the Lakers added the two-time All-star, they would see improvements in both areas immediately.

Cowherd also has a point that Beal would fit in well with LeBron. On all of his successful playoff teams, The King had at least one but usually several players that were knockdown shooters. On the Lakers, he has no one who comes close to Beal's three-point making ability.

Adding Bradley Beal would be a good first step to bringing the Lakers back to relevance. With a few more roster tweaks, they could be ready for a playoff run next year.
