Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green says superstar LeBron James texted the team about the Breonna Taylor news in their group chat.

As expected, Lakers players are upset that former officer Brett Hankison was not charged for Taylor’s death:

Hankison has been indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment. However, the Lakers and the rest of the NBA wanted him to be charged for murder, as well as Jon Mattingly and Myles Cosgrove, who weren't charged at all.

Danny Green and the Lakers are coming off a tough loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. While Los Angeles must remain focused on the task at hand, it is certainly hard for the group to just gloss over the fact that Breonna Taylor still hasn't received proper justice.

The city of Louisville announced a $12 million settlement for Taylor’s family, but money doesn't equal justice. The Lakers and all the players at Walt Disney World have been using their platform to try to bring justice for Taylor and her family.

Unfortunately, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron didn't make the move they wanted.

The Lakers and Nuggets will continue their series on Thursday. Los Angeles is up 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
