One player who's very much looking forward to the season restart is Los Angeles Lakers big man Dwight Howard. The 6-foot-10 center, who spent the first eight years of his career with the Orlando Magic, is relishing the opportunity to return to his original stomping ground.

Howard took to Instagram to share a bold promise he hopes to achieve this season:

Howard has been a revelation for LA this season, averaging 7.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 19.2 minutes per contest. His numbers may be a far cry from his old, dominant self, be he has adjusted comfortably to a reduced role for the Lakers as part of the team's second unit.

Howard's energy both on and off the court has also been pivotal for the Lakers, and this will prove to be even more important in the bubble, with the teams playing in crowd-less arenas. Howard's infectious energy will certainly go a long way in terms of giving his teammates a much-needed boost throughout each game.

Being that he is Dwight Howard, though, the former three-time Defensive Player of the Year has still found some time to kick back and relax during his time in the bubble. His experience in the same, however, has been less than ideal.

Recently, Lakers teammate Anthony Davis revealed how Howard was literally the lone attendee of an NBA-sanctioned pool party inside the bubble, which even had a couple of DJ's performing live. Imagining Howard sitting alone in a party without any friends seems like a hilarious (and disheartening) scene straight out of a movie.
