NBA legend Dwyane Wade joined the No Chill with Gilbert Arenas podcast recently and delved into a variety of topics. One major discussion was about the play of his former teammate and good friend LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

The King is still playing at an MVP level at Year 18 and Wade could only marvel at how LeBron can still impact the game in a multitude of ways, especially on offense.

“Now I watch his game and I say, ‘Does he have a weakness in his game?' It starts from the rim all the way back to half court. He can do everything. Let’s take it all the way back from the rebound. He does everything now. He’s shooting in the high 40s now and his range is out to the logo. You know midrange, he can post you up, face you up. Still going to dunk on you. His ability to see the floor is so much better now because he’s seen every coverage.”

Wade even had a bold take on the 36-year-old version of LeBron.

“I feel like this is the best LeBron I’ve ever seen.”

Indeed, like a fine wine, LeBron's game has aged extremely well. Unlike many other superstars throughout NBA history, the four-time MVP was never overly reliant on his athleticism. His passing has always been deemed his best overall skill and his ability to read and react to defenses has only gotten better over time.

At this point in his career, LeBron can still compete with the best of them, averaging team-highs of 25.0 points and 7.5 assists on top of 7.7 rebounds. He's also shooting over 40 percent from downtown on the highest volume of his career at 6.8 attempts per game.

It’s no surprise that LeBron James is the frontrunner for MVP this season and that his good pal Dwyane Wade is thoroughly impressed.
