In one of his first media sessions as the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, Frank Vogel gave a very positive impression of the new-look Lakers.

Besides claiming that his interactions with stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis had been nothing but positive, Vogel also heaped praise on third-year forward Kyle Kuzma. The former Indiana Pacers coach claimed that Kuzma is an extremely coachable player and that he's looking forward to working with him.

It seems like Vogel has already established a good relationship with most of the Lakers' core players.

While James and Davis will probably be doing most of the heavy lifting for the Lakers, Kuzma will also be playing a massive role for the team. After all, the talented wing has shown the league he is more than capable of being a solid third option. Kuzma averaged 18.7 points and 5.5 assists while shooting 46 percent in just his second year in the NBA.

Now, the Lakers will be counting on Kuz to take yet another step in developing his game. If they want to be serious contenders, the Purple and Gold will need a reliable third option behind LeBron and AD.

If the youngster is as coachable as Vogel says he is, it shouldn't be long before he solidifies the role as the third best player on the team and a reliable offensive option.
