Harbor Day School honored the late Gigi Bryant, daughter of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, by retiring her No. 2 jersey.

Vanessa Bryant posted videos and photos of the ceremony, which was held at the school gym in Corona del Mar, California.

Gigi and his dad were among the nine victims of the tragic Calababas helicopter crash nearly two weeks ago. They were heading to the Mamba Sports Academy at Thousand Oaks for a travel game.

Gianna was 13 years old, and she is known to be a gifted basketball player like the Lakers icon. Coaches and students consequently attended the ceremony and provided speeches.

Moreover, Gigi Bryant's No. 2 will also be honored at the NBA's All-Star Game in Chicago this February. Team LeBron is set to don her number, while the opposing Team Giannis will be wearing Kobe's iconic No. 24 jersey.

Lakers superstar LeBron James spoke to reporters about the tribute, saying that he chose Gianna's number because of how she reminded him of his own daughter, Zhuri.

The UConn Huskies women's basketball team also paid tribute to Gigi during one of their exhibition games against Team USA, draping a No. 2 jersey over a seat and placing flowers. Gianna aspired to become a professional basketball player like her father and was reportedly “hellbent” on playing for the Huskies.
