LeBron James' Space Jam: A New Legacy had a smashing opening in the box office, but there's an even bigger blockbuster these days: The Los Angeles Lakers Annual Offseason Drama.

Two of the protagonists (or antagonists?) are Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Lakers are trying to get rid of Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope. And when we say the team's trying to get rid of them, the TEAM IS REALLY TRYING TO GET RID OF THEM (via Heavy).

“They have literally offered Kyle Kuzma and KCP to almost (every team). Every team I’ve talked to in the league has been offered some combination of Kuz and KCP. Sometimes both of them, one of them, and that’s not going to get them back a point guard of Dennis’ (Schroder) stature.”

It's no secret that the Lakers are feeling out offers for Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope, but it's quite telling that the Lakers are trying to peddle them to almost every NBA squad in hopes of getting a star point guard to possibly replace Schroder.

Rumors swirled a few weeks ago that Kuzma, KCP, and a few other options will be shipped to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for All-Star floor general Kemba Walker. But talks have cooled down since, and the Lakers back to the drawing board anew.

Despite another mediocre campaign, Kyle Kuzma was adamant that he can play a bigger role for the Lakers. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played his role well, but apparently, sharing an agent with LeBron doesn't protect him from being shipped out.
