LeBron James has teamed up with several talented superstars over the course of his career, but his latest pairing with Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers seems to be a match made in heaven.

James' former coach Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra certainly thinks so, as he shared his two cents on the AD-LeBron dynamic duo prior his team's match-up versus the Lakers at the Staples Center on Friday.

“I think that’s part of his genius, is he’s able to morph into whatever he needs to be to bring out the best out of the other players,” Erik Spoelstra said of James, via Kyle Goon of the Daily News.

“And I think his connection with (Chris Bosh) was pretty natural, and this just fits like a glove with LeBron and A.D., the way they work together. Their skill sets complement each other.”

Spoelstra and the Heat had no answer to the Lakers’ two superstars, as they combined for 51 points in the Lakers’ 95-80 victory. The win stretched the Purple and Gold's winning streak to seven consecutive games.

Davis finished with 26 points, eight boards and seven assists, while James wasn’t that far behind with 25 points, four rebounds and six dimes.

The two superstars, who share the same agent in Rich Paul, have brought back excitement in Hollywood after several disappointing outings in the past few seasons.

James is currently ranked second in the latest 2019-20 Kia Race to the MVP Ladder, while Davis is fourth. The pair have also been instrumental for the Lakers on the defensive end — as the team currently holds the best defensive rating in the league.
