The league got a sample size of Donovan Mitchell last season. Despite being a rookie, the high-flying shooting guard has proven the chops to be the focal point of the Utah Jazz offense with his clutch shooting and electrifying dunks.

In relation to his dunks, the NBA released a video of Donovan Mitchell reacting to a compilation of his best dunks last season. Among them was a vicious put back dunk during a Laker and Jazz game, which was not entirely highlighted by the dunk, but on how Laker guard Josh Hart reacted to the dunk.

A celebration is clearly in order for spectacular dunks, especially if you are on the same team. A few seconds after the dunk, Hart clearly forgot that he was on the other team nearly celebrating his good friend Mitchell’s amazing display of athletic prowess as he stood up from the bench. Mitchell thought it was pretty funny on Hart’s end.

Moreover, Josh Hart took to Twitter shortly regarding the video on Mitchell’s dunk. He tweeted

Lmao “see what had happen was” @spidadmitchell

Looking back, Mitchell and Hart definitely had a few kicks on what had transpired.

It is good to know that despite the competitiveness of the NBA, even on opposing teams, friends can get to enjoy some laughs. With the NBA around the corner, we will see who gets the last laugh as they duke it out with other teams this season.

Mitchell had an average per game of 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, while Hart averaged 7.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists last season.
