Former Los Angeles Lakers teammates Alex Caruso and Josh Hart just had a hilarious exchange on the mean streets of Twitter. Caruso went on a bit of a rant about how the Twitterverse is populated by all sorts of “experts.” Hart decided to chime in and it resulted in a brief moment that took you back to a simpler time when these two guys were still on the Lakers. Or at least that's what the exchange did for me.

Anyway, here's Caruso's original Tweet complaining about the know-it-alls on Twitter:

We're not sure what Caruso was referring to here, and given the bizarre nature of the social media platform, it's impossible to pinpoint what particular subject the 27-year-old had in mind when he came out with this tweet. It could be in reference to his future in LA, with Caruso entering free agency in the offseason. Right now, it remains to be seen if the 6-foot-4 guard will remain with the Lakers for next season, so perhaps he's sounding off on the critics that are preempting his decision.

For his part, Josh Hart, now with the New Orleans Pelicans, decided to respond by dropping a truth bomb on Caruso and his social media activity:

To be clear, it seems like Hart was being sarcastic with his comment here. It's likely that he's simply affirming Caruso's message by acting like the exact same thing his former teammate is ranting about. These two go way back and it is clear that they have maintained a friendship even after Hart parted ways with the Lakers a couple of years back. Nevertheless, to further Hart's point, Caruso packing in even more muscles would definitely be a sight to see.
