The Los Angeles Lakers have had a busy few days of NBA free agency and have added all sorts of players into the fold with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook. One of the newest is Kendrick Nunn, the former Miami Heat guard who inked a two-year deal to back up Westbrook.

Apparently, Nunn is excited to be wearing the purple and gold, at least based on his latest Twitter post.

Nunn had his qualifying offer pulled from the Heat and then almost immediately with the Lakers, in what is a perfect landing spot for the talented point guard.

The new faces on the Lakers are full of veterans, including Carmelo Anthony and then a handful of former Lakers. Enter Nunn, who is set to play a crucial role as the Lakers aim high and try and recapture an NBA title.

Besides that, LeBron and company are one of the finalists for Andre Iguodala, who has narrowed his list down to the Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, and Golden State Warriors.

The roster has panned out fairly nicely, and the hype around the Purple and Gold is definitely building as the offseason has hit full force and the remaining free agents have dwindled down quite a bit.

So, welcome Kendrick Nunn to the Lakers, and it sure seems he is excited to be playing home games at Staples Center.
