Kobe Bryant was having no part of one Twitter user who was saying that if he switched spots with LeBron James for the last six years, Kobe Bryant would have won zero rings.

The user cited having to play the San Antonio Spurs in 2013 and 2014, as well as the Golden State Warriors the last four years, would be the reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers legend wouldn't be able to get the job done.

Bryant was having none of it pointing out the fact the Lakers had to play the Spurs almost every postseason during his career.

This came in response to Kobe saying James needed to just figure it out in terms of championships in a recent Bleacher Report article.

“All I thought about as a kid personally was winning championships. That’s all I cared about. That's how I valued Michael. That's how I valued [Larry] Bird. That's how I valued Magic [Johnson]. It was just winning championships. Now, everybody's going to value things differently, which is fine. I'm just telling you how I value mine.”

“If I'm Bron, you got to figure out a way to win. It's not about narrative. You want to win championships, you just gotta figure it out.”

Bryant went on to talk about a tip from Michael Jordan that he got after the 2008 Finals. Jordan told Kobe that he had the tools to get the job done, he just needed to get the teammates to the next level.

“Yeah, well, it is what it is; you gotta figure it out. There's no other alternative.' And that's the challenge LeBron has. You have pieces that you have to try to figure out how to work with. Excuses don't work right now.”

It is interesting to think about what exactly Bryant would have been able to do if he had played on the exact same teams that James did.
