Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan are two of the best players in the history of the NBA. Jordan was Bryant's idol. Bryant wanted to replicate his game in the same way that Jordan did in this career.

It's needless to say that Bryant succeeded, becoming the third all-time leading scorer in NBA history, surpassing Jordan. He is also the all-time leading scorer in Lakers history, dominating the game in a similar fashion like the Chicago Bulls legend. However, in regards to championships, Bryant has five and Jordan has six. Jordan, who is quick to talk trash to anyone, made sure Bryant knew about that when they had dinner.

It is a great thing to see two NBA legends having dinner and enjoying each other after both of them have retired from the NBA. Since Jordan has more career success than Bryant, all Bryant could do when Jordan blistered him about their peak years was shyly implore his idol to enjoy their food instead. This seems like a far cry from the Bryant the NBA was accustomed to. Bryant usually is a front-runner to talk trash to both his opponents and his teammates.

Apparently, the Black Mamba met his match with one of the most notorious trash-talkers in the history of the game. Bryant's humble disposition towards Jordan shows that he still admires the six-time NBA champion even after achieving amazing success as an NBA player himself. Maybe next time, Bryant will think twice before engaging in a trash talking session with Jordan. This may just be the last time Bryant has dinner with Jordan for a long time.
