The Los Angeles Lakers are still shaking off the rust, off to a 2-5 start in the season, but Lance Stephenson's antics are already in midseason form. The 6-foot-5 swingman baited Minnesota Timberwolves forward Gorgui Dieng into a technical foul after committing an offensive foul for shoving him out of post position. Take a look.

Dieng does the work early by establishing post position, but Stephenson recovers ever so slightly to annoy the big man, enough to warrant the call and a consequence shove to the head, which Lance ensured to showcase to the officials.

The game itself was tight throughout, with the Lakers talent contributing 11 points, four rebounds and three steals, along with this gem of a bait.

Dieng turned the ball over three times in his 16 minutes of play, but the Timberwolves still did enough to earn a 124-120 win after a big night from estranged star Jimmy Butler with 32 points and a sharp 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.

Nevertheless, this is more of the same for a Los Angeles franchise still looking to find its footing after LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Lakers. Everyone knew it would be a work in progress, but few likely expected it to last this long.
