Given their fierce on-court battles over the years, many were surprised when the Los Angeles Lakers picked up free agent Lance Stephenson following their summer coup of LeBron James.

Who could forget the image of Stephenson blowing into LeBron’s ear during one of the many Eastern Conference meetings between the Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers? Apparently, as admitted by Stephenson himself, he has yet to discuss the subject with his new teammate.

As a member of the Pacers, Stephenson had a number of on-court encounters with LeBron and his Cavs. Stephenson was often tasked with the near impossible task of defending James, so at times, he had to get creative.

Perhaps the most memorable Lance-LeBron moment was when Stephenson blew in the ear of James in an attempt to get on the latter’s nerve. Speaking to Justin Tinsley of The Undefeated, Stephenson shared how he and LeBron have yet to talk about the elephant in the room.

“It was definitely surprising [that LeBron James] wanted me to play with him,” Lance Stephenson said during the new Los Angeles Lakers’ first week together. “We ain’t talk about [the ear incident] though. I’m waiting for him to say something about it.”

While that may be a conversation worth hearing about, it is almost certain that it is now water under the bridge for James. He is as professional as they come, and surely, LeBron has moved on from this petty incident. In fact, it appears that Stephenson has even grown on LeBron to the point that the latter wanted him on board with the Lakers.
