The Los Angeles Lakers' odds to miss the playoffs took another jump on Tuesday after their 113-105 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to BetOnline.ag, the Lakers' odds of missing the playoffs are now -2500. That's a massive change from the -1000 they previously were at.

The Lakers now sit in 10th place in the Western Conference, 2.5 games back from ninth place and 5.5 games back from the eighth-seeded San Antonio Spurs. With just 18 games left, that's a large deficit to overcome. It's not impossible, but it makes sense that these odds are so long.

It doesn't help that Los Angeles is dealing with a ton of injuries. Lonzo Ball is still out with an ankle issue, while Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart are all banged up. And don't forget about LeBron James' groin problem, which he may not be 100 percent back from.

This won't be the last drastic change for the Lakers' playoff odds. Should they rattle off a few wins in a row, the odds should move back in their favor at least a little.

However, three of their next four games are against playoff teams. Not only that, but those three teams are the Denver Nuggets (second place in the West), Boston Celtics (fifth place in the East) and Toronto Raptors (second place in the East).

Wins won't be easy to come by for the Los Angeles Lakers in the upcoming days. A few more losses would seal the deal as the playoff odds put them to sleep.
