Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James vowed to never miss the NBA playoffs again after their messy 2021-22 season.

The Lakers failed to make it to the postseason once again after finishing outside the Top 10 in the West. They even didn't make it to the play-in, which earned them a lot of criticisms because of the plethora of talent they have in their roster.

It is the second time James missed the postseason since joining the Lakers in 2018, and he admitted that it's a painful experience.

“I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career! This shit HURT. Ok back to watching these games,” LeBron wrote on Twitter.

Sure enough, watching several NBA teams compete hard night in and night out made LeBron James miss the playoffs even more. For a man who has been a staple in the postseason for years, it's not surprising to get that itch to play at the highest level.

No wonder why he keeps tweeting about the playoff games and reacting to big moments–like what he did on Thursday after watching Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie take over for the Dallas Mavericks to take down the Utah Jazz.

However, before thinking of the playoffs, LeBron has to help dealing with Lakers roster first. Clearly, the Russell Westbrook experiment failed, and the team is now facing a tough task of rebuilding the roster with the few assets they have.

There is also the question about his future in LA. LeBron and Klutch Sports are reportedly not rushing making a decision on his future with the Purple and Gold, with the star forward said to be non-committal with the team as well.

It's up to LeBron to live up to the high expectations he set, but hey, he certainly loves putting pressure on himself.
