The world is nearing the release of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James' “Space Jam: A New Legacy.” As such, promotions for the highly-anticipated film are in full gear.

One of its latest efforts involves James' co-star in Bugs Bunny appearing in UNINTERRUPTED‘s “The Shop” for some good old exchange of jabs with the Lakers' frontman. The trailer showed a glimpse of the two, alongside Maverick Carter, throwing hilarious shades at each other.

Don't burst our bubble when we say LeBron James and Bugs Bunny have quite the on-screen chemistry. Perhaps one of the best parts is when the two pulled the GOAT debate into the conversation.

Bugs: “LeBron? He's so supportive. He helped me realize my full potential as the GOAT.”

LeBron: “Playing in one game, Bugs, in our movie, doesn't make you the GOAT.”

Bugs: “Well, that one game just so happens to be the most important game of either of our careers. But you know what? You did good. You helped out.”

The second installment in the “Space Jam” franchise is shaping up to be an entertaining spectacle. Aside from the classic Looney Tunes characters, basketball superstars such as Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Diana Taurasi, and Nneka Ogwumike are also part of the cast.

The plot from the first movie had Michael Jordan saving Bugs Bunny and co. from living their entire lives in Moron Mountain. This time, LeBron James will be playing not only for the Tune Squad but also to save his son after being taken by Don Cheadle's character.

“Space Jam: A New Legacy” is set to hit theatres and HBO Max on July 16.
