Retired NBA forward Richard Jefferson is as savage as they get. Even his former champion teammate LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers couldn't escape his brutal one-liners and rebuttals.

After it was reported on Monday that the Lakers are waiving DeAndre Jordan in order to make room for some acquisitions before the deadline to sign players in the buyout market and make them eligible for the postseason, Jefferson took to Twitter to react to the news.

Instead of commenting about the pros and cons of the move and other typical talks that analysts make, the former Cleveland Cavaliers forward congratulated Jordan and expressed how happy he is for the big man now that he's out of LA.

Ouch. Shots fired at the Lakers.

The Lakers have been an absolute mess this season, with the move to acquire Russell Westbrook in the offseason proving to be a costly gamble. The Purple and Gold are currently ninth in the West with a 27-33 record, and they are showing no signs of life even with the season in its final stretch of games.

While their current standing is enough for the play-in, it doesn't look like they can match up well against the likes of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers. Not to mention that the New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers are right behind them raring for the position they are in.

Certainly, LeBron James won't be happy with Richard Jefferson's trolling using the DeAndre Jordan situation. However, can we really blame him?
