Before the start of the NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James said he'd let his game do more of the talking. It echoed what his mom gave him as advice: Don't talk about it, be about it.

But now, after winning his 4th crown, it seems like The King is subtly firing back at all his naysayers.

He posted on Instagram a photo of him soaked in champagne while wearing their championship t-shirt with the caption “Super #WashedKing Ha!”

It seems the clever pun doubles as a clap-back to all his critics who have been saying he's already washed up. But at Year 17 and just a few days from reaching 36 years old, LeBron James once again proved that he's still at the top of his game. He also won his fourth NBA Finals MVP plum after averaging 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.2 steals.

After another masterful 40-point effort in Game 5, which unfortunately ended in a loss, James made sure in Game 6 that they'll close out the hard-fighting Miami Heat with 28 markers, 14 boards, and 11 dimes. That's his 11th triple-double in the NBA Finals—the most in history—just one of the slew of records he set in their entire title run.

Yesterday, LeBron also posted on social media a photo of him puffing a victory cigar, with the smoke billowing in his face. He also had a bold message pointed at his critics: “What are they gonna say now? I know they'll make up other criteria that nobody else has ever had in the history of the game. But guess what though, bring it on please! Heavy is the head that wears the crown.”

Yes, he can be about that too.
