Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, at 34-years old and in year 17 of his career, just notched his third straight triple-double in their 118-112 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Following his magnificent performance, James took a shot at his haters who called him “washed” with a savage tweet:

James became the first Laker to notch three consecutive triple-doubles since the great Magic Johnson.

The King finished his night with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. James' triple-double led the Lakers to a come from behind victory against the Bulls, which led by as much as 18 points in the third quarter. Kyle Kuzma helped spark the Lakers fight back as he scored 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter.

James dropped 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists against the San Antonio Spurs a couple of nights ago, while the first of his trio of trip-dubs came in a massive superstar showdown against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, where he posted 39 points, 12 boards, and 16 dimes last Friday.

LeBron is averaging 26.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 11.1 assists, while shooting 48.1 percent from the field across 35 minutes per game. His 11.1 assists per contest lead the Association through the first couple of weeks of the new NBA season.

Many of LeBron's critics predicted that he would show some signs of slowing down in his 17th year in the league. However, it appears like The King has no intentions to just yet.

Nevertheless, the Lakers might want to ease James' load a bit this season. This production and minutes load may not be sustainable for the 34-year old superstar throughout an 82-game marathon.

Then again, this is The King were talking about here. He just continues to defy the odds and prove his doubters wrong year after year.
