LeBron has fully embraced his role as the face of the NBA. There was a real threat that the 2020 NBA season would be cut short due to apprehensions of players caused by the continued social injustices. But the 35-year-old LeBron, with the help of other veterans, was able to implore the players to move forward.

“I just wanted to reassure that they were giving us their word and I was going to give them our word that we would continue to play on with the season, as long as we had action going on off the floor at the same time.”

LeBron also encouraged his peers to register and vote in the US elections. He succeeded in that regard as NBA voter registrants jumped to a whopping 95 percent from just 22 percent in 2016.

He did all of these while earning his fourth NBA championship. But this seems trivial to what he has done off the court.
