Due to an eye injury, Davis wore goggles at practice on Wednesday. Coupled with his beard and hair, the Lakers big man looked a lot like Abdul-Jabbar.

Davis is expected to play for the Lakers against the Los Angeles Clippers in the team’s first seeding game on July 30. Unfortunately, the Chicago native told reporters he’s unlikely to wear the goggles since he’s not used to playing in them.
Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March due to COVID-19, the Lakers racked up the best record in the Western Conference standings. They will begin the seeding games with a 5.5-game lead over the Clippers.
Davis, in his first season with the Purple and Gold franchise, is averaging 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists. The seven-time All-Star is also shooting 51.1 percent from the field, 33.5 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.
James, meanwhile, is putting up 25.7 points, 7.9 boards and 10.6 assists per game. The King is leading the NBA in assists for the first time during his legendary career, an impressive feat considering James is 35 years old and playing in his 17th NBA season.
Once the 2020 playoffs start, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers will be one of the betting favorites to win the championship. LeBron is looking for title No. 4, while AD is searching for that elusive first ring.
