LeBron James has taken a more vocal approach to racial and political issues in recent years as he continues to be a valuable role model on the Los Angeles Lakers. With it being the tragic one-year anniversary of Breonn Taylor's death, James took to Twitter to show love toward Taylor.

Taylor passed away on March 13, 2020 when the police broke into her house and shot her while she was sleeping. The police entered her home in an attempt to bust a drug-dealing operating, but Taylor wasn't involved in the situation.

Nevertheless, members of the Louisville Metro Police Department fatally shot her, which led to riots and protests across the country. There continues to be unrest due to the unfathomable incident involving Taylor, leading many to call for changes to police departments in America.

Since the incident occurred, none of the officers involved were charged for murdering Taylor. At the same time, the city of Louisville reached a $12 million settlement with Taylor's family and informed them that they were undergoing alterations in their practices.

When the news broke of Taylor's case not getting the desired verdict, James was among the athletes to share his disappointment in the results. The Lakers icon hasn't shied away from speaking out on certain topics, despite guys like Zlatan Ibrahimovic questioning James for his stance on political issues.

It has been a year since the fatal day of Taylor's death, which led to plenty of sorrowful moments in the United States. With the year that has passed since Taylor's untimely death, James is making sure that no one forgets her name.
