Some men are uptight about their receding hairlines, but Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James seems to be coming to grips with his. In fact, The King made light of a recent meme that was aimed at his bald spot, noting that it was one of the funniest posts he'd seen in a while.

The meme likened James' bald spot to that of a Reese's cup that had lost a portion of its chocolate covering after unwrapping. If you've eaten one of these peanut butter cups, you may know this plight.

The peanut butter cup might be compromised a bit, but the great taste is still there.

The analogy is clear, right?

LeBron James, who's now playing in his 17th season, may have lost some of his hair, but he's still full of flavor. In fact, The King is showing little to no signs of regression at the age of 35. And now he and his court are just two wins away from their first playoff series victory as teammates.

James was a monster in Saturday's Game 3 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring a team-high 38 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. His teammate, Anthony Davis, poured in 23 of his 29 points in the second half alone.

It seems James and Davis are meshing well as teammates:

“We know who we are as human beings,” James told ESPN after Saturday's win, referring to his relationship with Davis. “We're not trying to be nobody else but our own identity, our own self.

“And when you know yourself and when you're confident in what you do both on and off the floor and you know what you represent, then there's no ego,” James added. “There's no ego. We want both of us to succeed, both on and off the floor.”

Bald spot or not, LeBron James appears to be on a mission to deliver another championship to the Lakers organization.

Game 4 is set to tip at 9:00 p.m. ET on Monday night, with TNT having live broadcast coverage. According to a report from ESPN's Dave McMenamin, the Lakers will wear a Kobe Bryant-inspired jersey for the matchup to honor what would have been his 42nd birthday.
