LeBron James took to answering some questions from fans during his first Instagram Live session. The Los Angeles Lakers star tackled a bevy of subjects, from his time with the Miami Heat to Drake's new album to the biggest thing he learned from close friend Dwyane Wade.

Wade retired after last season but spent his entire career as a friend of James, leaving a bevy of lessons as the oldest member of the Banana Boat Crew (at 31:28 mark of video):

“Man, I learned a lot from D-Wade. A lot,” said James on Thursday night. “I'd be sitting here all night if I talked about the one thing I learned from him. One of the biggest things I learned from him is fatherhood. Seeing the way he raised his kids when I was down there [in Miami]. Probably from the first time I was around him. He had Zaire when he was in college and he was young. Wasn't financially stable, none of that, and he was able to do that.”

The Lakers star has three kids of his own in Bronny (born in 2004), Bryce (b. 2007), and Zhuri (b. 2014).

Bronny was only six years old when James teamed up with Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, but he got to see how Wade raised his kids as his oldest son was starting to grow.

Wade also unselfishly ceded the title of franchise player to James in their second year together, a transformation that spearheaded a title run in 2011, giving James his first NBA championship.

Those acts of kindness are some of the ones Wade displayed in his everyday life, acts that also served as an example for James as a parent down the line.
