Russell Westbrook is probably scouring his massive closet right now for all his purple and yellow stuff. Yes, the rumors proved to be true. Westbrook will join LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in what could be a foreshadowing of other crazy things that could go down in the offseason.

Westbrook will provide the Lakers with superhuman intensity that was deemed lacking in their failed run in the NBA Playoffs last season. But perhaps more importantly, Westbrook will help ease many of the load off LeBron, especially in the playmaking department. As one fan hilariously pointed out on Twitter, the two MVPs might get too unselfish at times.

Pretty accurate.

In all seriousness though, given how Westbrook meshed well with the high-scoring Bradley Beal on the Washington Wizards, he won't have a hard time playing alongside another heavy usage guy like LeBron. The King, for his part, has always found ways to involve his fellow All-Stars.

With the way Westbrook and LeBron regularly tally triple-doubles, they might set a few records along the way in their first season together with the Lakers. Chemistry won't be much of a problem as well, being former teammates on Team USA.

Curiously, Russell Westbrook led the NBA in assists this season, while LeBron James did it a season before. So Anthony Davis gets a ball, Dennis Schroder gets a ball, Alex Caruso gets a ball, Talen Horton-Tucker gets a ball, everybody gets a ball!

That clever fan needs to get a ball too.
