While Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James badly needed the win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, it was not the only reason he put up a monster performance.
LeBron loves playing at home, and so he wanted to give his fans from Cleveland a massive treat by going all-out and showing them the greatness he used to display night in and night out when he was still wearing Wine and Gold.
A day after his 38-point, 11-rebound and 12-assist performance, James took to Instagram to share how special the moment is. The Lakers forward highlighted that really, “there’s no place like home.”

LeBron James certainly proved that saying. His incredible night allowed him to make Lakers history, becoming just the fifth Purple and Gold player to have multiple 35-point triple-doubles. His numbers against the Cavs were his second of such stat line, joining Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

At age 37 and into his 19th season in the league, no one expected LeBron to be playing at such a high level. But as he said, the comforts of playing at home is second to none.
If he's playing like this, the Cavs might want to consider their stance on not welcoming him back if he wants to spend his final year in the NBA in the team where it all started for him.
