It's no secret that LeBron James is a big investor. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has used the latter half of his career investing into various companies and organization in order to secure his spot at the top. His latest exploits, though, involve two other superstars in their respective crafts.

Damon Carr of Sports Illustrated reported LeBron's partnership with tennis star Naomi Osaka and popular rapper Drake to invest in a technology company called StatusPro. Here are the details of the Lakers star's newest investment.

“StatusPro is a sports tech and gaming firm that uses player data with extended reality (XR) in order to create training and fan engagement products. It was founded last year by former NFL star Andrew Hawkins, who worked at SpringHill Entertainment for LeBron James and Maverick Carter.”

Hawkins, the founder of StatusPro thanked the Lakers star for his support of his company.

“It’s incredibly humbling that pioneers of their level believe in us as founders and in our vision for this industry. We always say StatusPro is only as strong as our team, and our team just got a whole lot stronger.”

This isn't LeBron's first rodeo in investing in a company. Earlier this year, the Lakers superstar made headlines as he invested in Fenway Sports Group, the company that owns the Boston Red Sox. FSG in particular was also involved in the StatusPro investment, so already we're seeing LeBron's earlier moves starting to pay off.

If LeBron, Drake, and Osaka are successful with this company, they'll be making a lot more bank. The projected value of StatusPro is at an astronomical 47 billion Euros. That's a lot of money for the Lakers star, who's already one of the richest players in NBA history.
