After being drafted as the second overall pick in last June's draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, Lonzo Ball signed a rookie contract for two years worth $13,748,520.

He seems to be really embracing the luxury lifestyle and is buying some really expensive items. For Christmas, he bought his parents a $400,000 convertible Rolls Royce.

Now, according to the Los Angeles Times' Neal Leitereg, Ball has made a nice little gift for himself. The Lakers rookie purchased a $1.625 million condominium located at the Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A Live. This is located right across from the Staples Center, so his commute to work just got a lot shorter.

“Features include high ceilings, designer finishes and an office. The European-inspired kitchen is equipped upgraded appliances. Views from the bedrooms and the dining area take in the city lights and mountains. A pair of parking spaces are included with the unit. A rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center and valet and concierge services are among building amenities.”

He won't be the most famous person living in his condo building though. Jim Buss lives only a few floors down. and boxer Floyd Mayweather also has a condo in the building.

This will be his second big real estate purchase since going pro. In August, a limited liability company linked to Ball purchased a three-story mansion in Chino Hills at the price of $5.2 million.

There have been rumors and his dad saying that he will leave the Lakers after his rookie contract is done, but judging by the price of these purchases, Lonzo might be planning to stick around.
