Lonzo Ball just played his first preseason game for the Los Angeles Lakers since he tore his meniscus last season, and he had a few takeaways about playing with LeBron James. The Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 123-113. The arena was sold out, as this is the kind of matchup everyone wants to see in the playoffs. Ball recorded seven points, four rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes. He's still working his way back into the NBA game, but he looked strong and confident. Ryan Ward talked to Ball after the game, and he said the Lakers can't get caught up watching LeBron, no matter how well is performing. The rest of the cast will have to do their part too.

“When you play with LeBron you've got to keep playing because he's easy to watch as much stuff as he does. He had a monster first half. Best player in the world. We got to keep focusing. We got to keep doing our job,” said Ball.

LeBron James certainly had a monster first half. James finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in just 18 minutes, showcasing his ability to do it all. He's one of the game's all-time greats, so it's hard for some Lakers to not watch him with admiration. As we all know, it'll take an entire team to beat the Golden State Warriors.

Rajon Rondo will be the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Lonzo Ball will get valuable minutes off the bench, learning from one of the greatest minds in basketball. Ball's last season was riddled with injuries, so all eyes will be on him to see if he can put together a complete year.
