Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers made a lot of headlines last week when he took a shot at Big Baller Brand. In the Snapchat post he made, he criticized the high price tag of its merchandise and making it known that he will not purchase them.

However, Lonzo Ball appears to still have a good relationship with him and continues to support him despite what he shared on social media. It was recently reported that the former UCLA star is rooting for Kuzma, and is a fan of him, as he apparently had a “Kuzmania” shirt hanging in his locker, according to Bill Oram of the SoCal News Group.

Entering last June’s NBA Draft, Kuzma was not one of the highly-touted prospects, as much of the attention was given to Markelle Fultz, Jayson Tatum, De’Aaron Fox, Dennis Smith Jr, and Ball, among others.

Despite only being selected 27th overall, Kuzma is proving that he is the steal of the draft, and has been posting impressive numbers so far this season, with averages of 18.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 31.9 minutes per game.

With Brandon Ingram currently injured, Kuzma has taken his spot in the starting unit and has stepped up his game well for the Lakers. During Monday’s matchup versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, he scored 31 points and recorded the highest scoring game for a Lakers rookie on a Christmas Day game.

If he continues to play at this level throughout the season, he will definitely gain more fans, who will all believe in the “Kuzmania” fever, just like his fellow rookie and teammate.
