As it turns out, Magic Johnson is all in on the Darvin Ham hype train. The Los Angeles Lakers icon quickly took to Twitter after Monday's press conference that featured LA's new coach, and Magic's reaction to Ham's statements should have LA fans hyped.

Magic is a prominent figure for the Lakers organization, so people listen to what this man has to say. Thankfully for Ham, the Hall of Famer had nothing but praise for him:

“The Lakers press conference to introduce my friend, Darvin Ham, as the coach of the Lakers was truly amazing. I enjoyed listening to him talk about accountability, defense, spacing on the offensive end, sacrifice, competitiveness, and toughness,” Johnson said in his tweet.

Johnson also sent out a simple reminder about Ham's winning credentials. The 48-year-old may not have any experience as a head coach in the NBA, but one thing that cannot be denied is that the new Lakers shot-caller knows how to win:

“He won a championship as a coach with the Bucks and as a player with the Pistons. He knows winning and championship basketball!” Johnson said.

Magic Johnson hasn't been shy about criticizing his beloved Lakers whenever he deems it necessary. It's great to hear that he's giving his full support to Darvin Ham early on. This definitely goes a long way.
