For the first time since LaVar Ball's critical comments claiming that Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton had lost the team's locker room, the Lakers front office has spoken out.

Lakers majority owner Jeanie Buss and team president Magic Johnson each tweeted support for coach Walton on Saturday after the Lakers won their fourth straight game.

Johnson also went on to say that he thought the Lakers were playing their best basketball of the season and continued his full support of Walton, amidst ridiculous rumors from ESPN's Brian Windhorst that Los Angeles was leaning towards replacing Walton with former Memphis Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale.

Buss also posted a picture of herself out at dinner with general manager Rob Pelinka and Luke Walton while tweeting that she was on her way to Memphis for the Lakers' upcoming matchup with the Grizzlies.

With their fourth consecutive win, the Los Angeles Lakers (15-27) really appear to be on a roll with an impressive 107-101 overtime victory against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday afternoon at American Airlines Center.

The Lakers, who were down by 10 points almost midway through the fourth quarter, managed to rally to force overtime and simply got the job done on the road.

“We turned up our defensive intensity, got some stops and were able to get on a run,” coach Walton said after the game. “Then they made some tough shots and it was time to re-focus. We’d been in overtime games before, so let’s take it possession by possession. You always believe in your team.”

It's probably best you check your “sources” more than once next time, Mr. Windhorst? ESPN seems to already be having a fair share of credibility issues lately and your ridiculous claims are dousing that fire with even more gasoline with this continued infatuation with LaVar Ball.
