The early verdict, at least in the virtual world, on the Los Angeles Lakers' retooled roster is now out after NBA 2K19 release its rating for the team's projected starting unit.

As posted by Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints, below is the NBA 2K19 ratings for the Lakers' starting five:

NBA 2K ratings have been some sort of benchmark for NBA players themselves. Not just because they enjoy playing the video game as much as the next guy, but the rating gives them a hint whether they did some good out there on the court.

We've seen some violent reactions from NBA players when their respective ratings come out. Fans, too, have shared their thoughts on the matter. Wonder how Lakers fans reacted to their starting five and their ratings?

The starting line up, of course, will be subject to change as the real NBA regular season approaches. Head coach Luke Walton hasn't spoken much about the changes he'll make with LeBron James and his new additions on the roster.

Critics believe that the starting point guard spot will be a battle between Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo. Though Rondo himself has admitted that he doesn't care if he's starting or not. Rondo is expected to be out there to provide the young Ball with some valuable basketball wisdom. And in the process, perhaps Rondo can learn a thing or two from the young stud.

NBA 2K19 will be out on September 11. For those who pre-ordered it, they will receive the game on September 7.
