Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, has posted a heartfelt post on Instagram about the tragic death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

The Lakers host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, the first game LA is playing since Bryant passed away. Paul, who represents James, Anthony Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, will likely be sitting courtside as he usually does.

Everyone knows how much Bryant meant to the Lakers organization and the city of LA. In 1,346 career games for the Lakers, Bryant cemented himself as an all-time great. Coming straight to the NBA from high school is no easy move, but Bryant finished his illustrious NBA career with averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. He won five championships with the Purple and Gold and got his No. 8 and 24 jerseys retired last year.

Is a Bryant statue outside of Staples Center the next move for the Lakers? It could be. Right now, the organization is trying to focus on the task at hand which is winning the title. Nothing would make this season more special than to see LeBron and Davis lead the franchise to banner No. 17 for Kobe and Gigi.

Once the playoffs start, the game usually slows down and half court execution is at a premium. Luckily for the Lakers, they have two of the best scorers and all around playmakers in the league in LeBron and Davis.
