Former Los Angeles Lakers stud Robert Horry has hit more than a few clutch shots during his heyday. After all, you don't get the nickname “Big Shot Bob” for nothing. As such, the seven-time NBA champion can be considered an authority when it comes to naming the best clutch shooter in the league. His top choice, however, might be a bit contentious for some folks.

Naturally, Horry named Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry on his Top 5 GOAT clutch shooters list. Ray Allen also made the cut. However, according to the ex-Lakers forward, the man sitting atop his list as the greatest clutch shooter ever is none other than Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard:

“Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Steph Curry and this guy right here is probably No. 1: Damian Lillard,” Horry said on a recent podcast interview (h/t Peter Dewey of Lakers Daily). “And people are going to say, ‘Damian Lillard? He hasn’t won anything.’ But Damian Lillard has hit more — he has hit a clutch shot versus every team in the NBA.”

As Horry justified in his statement, his Top 5 list has nothing to do with what these players have achieved throughout their careers. For the former Lakers champ, it's purely about consistently making shots during crunch time. In this respect, you can see why Horry considers Lillard to be the GOAT in this particular category.
