Russell Westbrook is home. The newest high profile addition to the Los Angeles Lakers was born in California and famously played for the UCLA Bruins. It's definitely a full circle moment for the Brodie, who looks to be in the best of spirits after being traded away from the Washington Wizards.

Check out one of Westbrook's first official LA sightings as a Laker, via TMZ Sports:

Russ is absolutely rocking a million-dollar smile there. For every single Lakers fan, you love to see it. There's definitely a lot to smile about if you're Westbrook given that you're going to get your best chance to win an NBA championship since Kevin Durant was still in Oklahoma City.

Westbrook's season in Washington wasn't his most productive, scoring just 22.2 points per game on 43.9% shooting from the field. But he did still post a triple-double average, with an eye-popping 11.5 rebounds and 11.7 assists per contest. On a team where LeBron James and Anthony Davis both carry a tremendous load, having a third star to be an all-around menace will be a welcome sight.

There are definitely reasons to doubt the compatibility of the roster, especially when it comes to spacing and learning how to play off-ball with LeBron James. But one thing you can't knock about Russell Westbrook is that he's going to be all-in to make it work.
