Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma have developed a special kind of friendship during each other’s rookie season with the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s the kind of bond that includes hilarious exchanges and taunting on social media. However, the two may have reached the patience threshold of the Lakers, who, for most of the time since drafting the two players, have been extremely tolerant of both rookie’s behaviors and antics.

According to the report of Ramona Shelburne and Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, the Lakers have called the attention of Ball and Kuzma shortly after the release of the former’s diss track targeted at the latter.

The Los Angeles Lakers have spoken to Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma about toning down their social media roasting of each other following a rap diss track that Ball released on Kuzma this week.

Though Kuzma and Ball are close friends, the Lakers had grown concerned about the increasingly personal nature of some of the recent roasting between two of their young stars, sources told ESPN.

The said track, titled “Kylie Kuzma” even provoked the former Utah Ute’s mother to react on Twitter.

The meeting between Kuzma, Ball, and the Lakers seemed to have gone just fine with ESPN’s sources saying it was merely to ask both youngsters to pump their breaks a little when it comes to their social media banters.

Sources said the team spoke to both players and that there are no lingering issues and that both players agreed to tone down the joking insults on social media.

While Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma may consider their roasting of each other as a friendly in nature, the Lakers definitely expect a higher level of decorum of the two. After all, the two are now professional basketball players a year removed from their college dorms.
