Vanessa Bryant has finally spoken on the recent controversy surrounding rapper Meek Mill and his reference to Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant. It's safe to say that she's not quite happy.

The widow of the Lakers great took offense at the rapper's choice of words in his recent track. In the leaked song entitled “Don't Worry (RIP Kobe),” the rapper referenced the tragic death of the five-time NBA champion, and Vanessa thinks his bar is “extremely disrespectful“.

The 38-year-old took to Instagram to express her fury over Mill's line about the former Lakers star and blasted the rapper.

“Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this,” Vanessa posted on her IG Stories. “If you are a fan, fine, there's a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

Vanessa Bryant does have a point here.

Even if we give Mill the benefit of the doubt, it's hard to argue against Kobe Bryant's wife. Even if you say that he was simply tipping his hat to the Lakers legend with the name drop, it's probably not the best idea to refer to someone's tragic death in a line about someone you're sleeping with.

Here's how Meek Mill's bar goes in “Don't Worry (RIP Kobe)”:

“This b*tch I'm f**king always telling me that she love but she ain't ever showed me,” Mill's line goes. “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I'm going out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”

For what it's worth, after Vanessa sent out the IG Story, Mill sent out a tweet seemingly in response to it.
