The Los Angeles Lakers have pretty much controlled their game against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, things could have been different after they saw Anthony Davis suffer an injury scare late in the third quarter.
In a play that would have Lakers fans incensed, Davis got the ball under the basket and went on to attempt a dunk. However, Blazers wing Kent Bazemore tried to strip the ball away, slapping the ball hard only to hit AD's arm.
Davis immediately held his right shoulder after the play as he appeared to hurt it after the contact with Baze.
Davis caught the ball under the rim and was about to go up for a dunk when Bazemore slapped at the ball, and made a lot of contact with AD’s arm. He stayed under the hoop holding his right shoulder into a time out. POR went down and hit a 3 on the other end to cap an 11-0 run.

If the injury is indeed real, then this would be categorized as another instance of spotty calling that comes with the sport. Earlier in the game, it's the Blazers fans who were fuming over a foul call on Anthony Tolliver when he didn't appear to touch LeBron James during his horrible layup.
The injury, however, will be a cause for concern for the Lakers. After all, Anthony Davis has previously been sidelined due to the same issue.
Certainly, the foul will be the hit will be one of biggest talking points of the game.
