L.A. is home to a lot of Hollywood A-list celebrities, that's why it doesn't come as a surprise that a number of them watch the games of the Los Angeles Lakers inside Staples Center live. Perhaps one of the most recognizable figures outside of the players is Jack Nicholson, who has always been a season ticket holder and continues to watch all the Purple and Gold's home games inside the arena whenever he's available.

That said, the ESPN commentators were left perplexed after seeing the veteran actor showing off his ticket to the arena usher during the Lakers' game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, appearing that he was not identified immediately despite being there almost every time the Lakers play at home.

The clip only goes to show that everyone, regardless of stature and popularity, is just like any ordinary fan when watching Laker games, and has to abide by the rules. However, it was still a very interesting sight, to say the least, as Nicholson's name is almost synonymous with being a die-hard fan of the storied franchise.

For what it's worth, Nicholson just went on to proceed to his first row seat near the sidelines. The Lakers also went on to win the game, 127-113. It was their seventh win in the last nine outings, improving their record to 30-36 for the season.

Julius Randle starred for the home team, scoring a career-high of 36 points, to go along with 14 rebounds and seven assists, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope chipped in 20 points, six rebounds and two steals of his own on the night.
